I noticed it when I saw a short video of a dad singing songs that his three-year-old wrote. The sweetness of it, the innocence, made me cry. Hearing the little stories about “the important mermaid” or a rabbit named “Pippa” was almost unbearably cute, and the man’s tenderness was so disarming. I didn’t expect to cry over it.
